Job Summary

As a Critical Care Paramedic with Mission Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support services, including assessment, triage, and treatment, in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency medical transport settings
  • Conduct thorough assessments and triage patients to ensure timely and effective treatment
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed to stabilize patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Paramedic Certificate from an accredited college or Associate's degree in EMS
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level
  • Current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services and S.C. prior to orientation completion
  • National Registry Paramedic certification
  • Maintain BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and advanced provider ITLS or PHTLS certifications
  • Maintain CCEMT-P, CCP-C, or FP-C certifications (preferred)
  • Valid Class C NC driver's license and meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
  • Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800 certifications
  • Attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings
Preferred Qualifications
  • College education (or equivalent); bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of full-time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level
