Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Critical Care Specialist to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients with complex medical conditions, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
  • Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities
  • Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members
  • Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptions should this information be needed
  • RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Nursing
  • National Certification in area of specialty
