Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Provide leadership that fosters the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
- Implement medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with completion within 5 years of hire. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt from this requirement.
- Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply. Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Preferred Licensure/Certifications: National Certification in specialty area.
Required Experience: Minimum one year of hospital nursing experience.
