Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Provide leadership that fosters the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
  • Implement medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with completion within 5 years of hire. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt from this requirement.
  • Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Required Licensure/Certifications: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply. Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred Licensure/Certifications: National Certification in specialty area.

Required Experience: Minimum one year of hospital nursing experience.
