Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain LNG equipment, including refrigeration systems, compressors, and engines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the LNG machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repair and replace damaged parts, and ensure optimal efficiency of operation.
  • Monitor system operations to detect potential problems or disruptions in production.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain safety standards during equipment operation.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaborate with production, safety, engineering, and other teams to optimize performance and production of natural gas.
  • Train other staff members on the operation of LNG equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and control field operations surrounding machines, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and report any incidents or breaches of safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an LNG Technician or similar role in the gas industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications in a relevant field are a plus.
