Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain LNG equipment, including refrigeration systems, compressors, and engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the LNG machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repair and replace damaged parts, and ensure optimal efficiency of operation.
- Monitor system operations to detect potential problems or disruptions in production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain safety standards during equipment operation.
- Document all inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with production, safety, engineering, and other teams to optimize performance and production of natural gas.
- Train other staff members on the operation of LNG equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and federal regulations.
- Monitor and control field operations surrounding machines, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks and report any incidents or breaches of safety regulations.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Proven experience as an LNG Technician or similar role in the gas industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications in a relevant field are a plus.
