Test Equipment Specialist

AST SpaceMobile is revolutionizing the way we connect to the world. As a Test Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and testing, with experience in setting up and calibrating test equipment. You will be responsible for testing AST SpaceMobile products, including RF microwave components, packaged parts, and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test procedures and processes
- Provide testing support using LabView or similar software
- Conduct testing on space mechanisms using electronic testing equipment
- Assist teams in decision making for equipment needed
- Provide integration support of equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- US citizenship, permanent resident card, or non-citizen allowed to work for any employer
- Internal or external experience in testing and electronics
- Familiarity with LabView programming or similar test control and data acquisition programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Service-oriented, flexible, and able to work with a variety of staff
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using various electronic testing equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
