Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Process Specialist

Performance Health Holdings Inc is on the lookout for a dedicated Manufacturing Process Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing and refining manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Support:

  • Expertise in processes such as plastic and rubber sheeting, tubing extrusion, punch presses, water jets, and injection molding.
  • Develop and maintain production processing conditions, ensuring documentation is current and accessible.
  • Create and update production operating instructions, providing training on new or revised procedures.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, 5-S, and Kaizen.
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Operate pilot and manufacturing equipment for the evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
  • Drive projects aimed at process improvement, operational efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Provide technical support across shifts, ensuring production goals are met.
  • Collaborate with cost accountants to develop accurate costing assumptions related to materials, machine run rates, and labor.
  • Engage with customers to ascertain product requirements and ensure compliance.

New Product Development:

  • Collaborate with New Product Development, Operations, and Account Managers to define design inputs and coordinate sample runs.
  • Provide technical leadership for corporate projects, establishing manufacturing plans and timelines for new product launches.
  • Work closely with the quality team to create and implement control plans for new products.

Regulatory Support:

  • Design and execute Process Validation protocols, documenting all IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for both existing and new processes.
  • Participate actively in validation teams and lead PFMEA teams to conduct risk analysis across the plant.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead teams in addressing corrective actions.
  • Support external audits by regulatory bodies and customers, ensuring compliance and quality standards are upheld.
  • Contribute to internal audits and participate in supplier audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and document control systems.
  • CNC Programming experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time, including overnight trips.
