Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 Per Year + PAID Relocation
As a Senior Process Control Specialist, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, maintain, and enhance the process control and safety systems utilized in our chemical and specialty materials production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and support for the site's continuous operations concerning safety and process control systems, including process instrumentation, DCS, and PLCs.
- Employ your technical knowledge and data analysis skills to effectively troubleshoot process control systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in control and electrical systems.
- Assist production and maintenance teams in enhancing continuous improvement, yield, and efficiency.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and automation projects, ensuring they meet functional, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver instrumentation and automation support for larger mechanical and chemical projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or chemical process environment.
- Proficiency with variable frequency drives, PLC programming, and HMI programming.
- Experience with process instrumentation in an industrial setting, including the ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics.
