Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute essential cost accounting functions, such as inventory assessment, calculation of cost of goods sold, and allocation of overhead expenses.
  • Perform comprehensive cost analysis to pinpoint areas for potential cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in the budgeting cycle, which includes forecasting, variance analysis, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Work closely with the production team to analyze manufacturing costs and provide insights for financial improvement.
  • Generate and deliver financial reports to upper management, ensuring clarity and precision in conveying complex financial information.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in manufacturing finance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial analyst capacity, ideally within the manufacturing domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting and analytical evaluation.
  • Experience in private equity is highly desirable.
  • Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and their financial consequences.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities, with a knack for interpreting intricate financial data and providing sound recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. CMA or CPA certification is advantageous.
