Position Overview

Salary: $19 - $25 per hour

*If you have not yet achieved the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, we encourage you to apply for the Behavior Assistant role. Our organization will assist you in obtaining the RBT credential.*

Go Behavioral LLC specializes in providing tailored Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families throughout California and Central Florida. Our programs are meticulously crafted to equip children with essential skills for leading fulfilling and productive lives. Additionally, we offer comprehensive services, including training, resources, and coordinated support to assist families on their journey.

We are currently looking for a Behavior Assistant / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to become part of our dedicated team. We offer flexible scheduling options ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, with available hours between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM. Candidates must be available for at least five days during the hours of 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and at least 18 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree or nearing completion is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management and organizational abilities

Requirements for Behavior Technician (RBT):

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in applied settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Successful completion of a level-two background check
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, car insurance, and a clean driving record
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical activity for extended periods

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Behavior Assistant / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide one-on-one support to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders in various settings.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans aimed at reducing challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate closely with clients' families and caregivers.
  • Exhibit a strong interest and commitment to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Effectively manage multiple responsibilities while exercising sound judgment.
