Role Overview

As a Behavioral Support Specialist at Tetra Healthcare, you will be instrumental in addressing the behavioral needs of individuals, providing essential support, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral interventions as outlined by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Deliver direct assistance to clients, adhering to their personalized treatment strategies.
  • Accurately collect and maintain data regarding behaviors, skills, and progress.
  • Engage in training opportunities to expand your understanding of behavioral methodologies.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to refine and adapt treatment plans.
  • Support individuals in acquiring and sustaining daily living skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights to BCBAs regarding client progress and treatment adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of individuals.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances.
