**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Therapist/Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist/Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced and licensed Behavior Analysts to provide training and support to children with special needs.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform behavior training for children in their homes, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
  • Follow the behavior plan designed by the supervisor, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care.
  • Track the overall progress of the child, identifying areas of improvement and celebrating successes.
  • Aid the supervisor in identifying new problem behaviors, working together to develop effective solutions.
  • Inform the case supervisor of changes in family dynamics or any parent concerns/questions, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Inform the supervisor of any changes in the client's schedule, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with the client and their caregivers, building trust and rapport through empathy and understanding.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Child Development).
  • Bilingual: Spanish (fluency in both speaking and writing).
  • At least one year of experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic or educational setting.
  • Near to the following zip codes: 91331, 91342, 91343.
  • Negative TB test results and clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with parents and caregivers.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Proof of ability to work in the USA.
  • Interest and a willingness to work with children, demonstrating a passion for making a positive impact.
