Position Overview:
The Retail Sales Representative will play a crucial role in assisting the Store Leadership Team in meeting all organizational objectives and initiatives. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and appropriate sales techniques. The Sales Associate will uphold company standards for merchandise presentation, restocking, and sizing while ensuring a tidy and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:
  • Monitor customer interactions and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance over other responsibilities.
  • Welcome and acknowledge customers, providing the appropriate level of service.
  • Clearly communicate the value and quality of merchandise while informing customers of current promotions and offering alternatives for unavailable items.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Demonstrate effective selling techniques to positively influence sales conversion rates.
  • Provide efficient, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register while educating customers about the benefits of the store's loyalty program.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are available.
  • Adhere to company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support and maintain a clean, organized stockroom while ensuring a customer-ready environment and following safety protocols.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
  • Protect company assets by following all Loss Prevention policies.
  • Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility needs to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store performance goals.
  • Exhibit flexibility by assisting with stock processing as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong customer engagement skills.
  • Proven time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.
  • Physical ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom; climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
