The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Food Science, Nutrition or other related field and 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry selling to food manufacturers.

This role offers a home-office based setup with flexibility and autonomy to cultivate new accounts while expanding existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a growing portfolio of customer accounts (food manufacturers) as the company expands.
  • Create and oversee an annual sales budget, aligning it with targeted goals and objectives.
  • Apply and manage pricing strategies across assigned accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Participate in critical business decision-making meetings, both internally and with clients.
  • Lead technical discussions, support customers with troubleshooting, and coordinate project execution.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in food science/ingredients sector.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline, setting milestones, and tracking key performance metrics.
  • A 'builder' mentality is essential, with the ability to cultivate new accounts while expanding existing relationships.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.
