About the Company:

Our client is a national leader in food preservation and food safety technologies, founded in 2017. They focus on selling science-based microbial solutions for fresh food and pet industries, promoting natural preservatives across all food categories.

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targeted goals and objectives, and participating in critical business decision-making meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted goals and objectives, including creating and managing pricing strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them, working closely with internal stakeholders to secure new deals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving sales success.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Education: A science-related degree is highly desirable, but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This role also offers the opportunity to work from home, with some travel required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
