Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to join our team at Michael Page. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving sales success.

The Sales Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a growing portfolio of customer accounts, creating and overseeing an annual sales budget, and participating in critical business decision-making meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow their business and increase revenue.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted goals and objectives, including creating and managing pricing strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them, working closely with internal stakeholders to secure new deals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving sales success.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Education: A science-related degree is highly desirable, but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This role also offers the opportunity to work from home, with some travel required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
