Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned FP&A Manager to enhance our Revelyst Outdoor Performance platform team, which encompasses renowned brands such as Bushnell, Blackhawk, Camp Chef, Primos, Simms Fishing, Stone Glacier, and various outdoor accessory lines. Our strategic focus in Outdoor Performance prioritizes a consumer-centric approach, leveraging powerful brands, and fostering internal investments. Our goal is to amplify the Outdoor Performance business by concentrating on consumer engagement and brand strength. The Finance team will collaborate across departments to deliver precise financial forecasts, assess risks, and drive profitability enhancements.

As the FP&A Manager for Bushnell, your role will involve supervising the financial planning and analysis functions to assist brand teams in making well-informed business choices. This position entails developing financial models, scrutinizing data to support decision-making, and generating reports that offer insights into the company's financial health and future outlook.

This role reports to the Director of FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning: Spearhead the creation, execution, and ongoing oversight of financial planning processes, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making, assess business performance, identify trends, and propose actionable insights to enhance financial outcomes. Evaluate the implications of business strategies, customer profitability, and brand performance in relation to corporate objectives.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Construct and maintain reliable forecasting models to estimate financial performance, track variances against budgets/forecasts, and prepare regular management reports to convey essential findings and recommendations.
  • Business Collaboration: Work alongside business leaders to continually refine and propel the business forward, enhancing growth and profitability through effective financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance, track progress towards financial targets, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders that support critical decision-making processes.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis methodologies, streamline reporting processes, and implement best practices to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis within a consumer products manufacturing or sourcing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting findings clearly and persuasively to influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic mindset with strong critical thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to developing innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in cross-functional collaboration across all organizational levels.
Compensation:
$97,000 - $152,900.
The actual annual salary offered will be determined based on various factors including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
