Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled FP&A Manager to oversee our financial planning and analysis efforts within the Revelyst Outdoor Performance platform, which includes renowned brands such as Bushnell, Blackhawk, Camp Chef, Primos, Simms Fishing, and Stone Glacier. Our focus is on enhancing consumer engagement, leveraging strong brand identities, and fostering internal investments to drive growth. The Finance team plays a crucial role in collaborating across departments to deliver precise financial forecasts, assess risks, and enhance profitability.

As the FP&A Manager for Bushnell, your primary responsibility will be to manage the financial planning and analysis framework, guiding brand teams in making data-driven business choices. This role entails developing financial models, scrutinizing data to support strategic decisions, and generating reports that offer insights into the organization's financial health and future outlook.

This role reports directly to the Director of FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning: Spearhead the creation, execution, and continuous oversight of financial planning processes, encompassing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive analyses to inform strategic decisions, assess business performance, identify trends, and propose actionable insights to enhance financial outcomes. Evaluate the implications of business strategies, customer profitability, and brand performance in relation to corporate objectives.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Design and maintain precise forecasting models to anticipate financial performance, track variances against budgets/forecasts, and compile regular management reports to convey critical findings and recommendations.
  • Business Collaboration: Work alongside business leaders to drive continuous improvement and enhance growth and profitability through effective financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance, track progress towards financial targets, and proactively identify areas for enhancement.
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders to support essential decision-making processes.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to refine financial planning and analysis processes, streamline reporting practices, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis within a consumer products manufacturing or sourcing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting findings clearly and persuasively to influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a capacity to contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various levels of the organization.
Compensation:
$97,000 - $152,900.
The actual annual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, geographic location, education, and skills, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
