Job Summary

As a key member of our front office team, you will assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. This includes overseeing the Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process, while also providing exceptional customer service and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Front Office Manager in supervising and managing front desk staff, including directing and working with managers and employees to carry out procedures.
  • Ensure guest and employee satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any issues or concerns raised by guests or employees.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to front desk staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including handling guest complaints and resolving conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area preferred.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
