About the Role

GuidePoint Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Sales Professional to join our team as an Enterprise Security Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively networking, cold calling, and selling to multiple contacts within an organization, including C-level executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Consistently meet sales and profitability goals by positioning, configuring, and quoting product and service solutions to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and develop relationships with customers, providing a consultative sales approach that delivers the highest level of account management services.
  • Industry Participation: Participate in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, and OWASP to stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and best practices.
  • Lead and Opportunity Management: Manage leads and opportunities through our CRM tools, accurately and consistently reporting sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
  • Proposal Development: Participate in the creation, editing, and closure of services proposals.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Work with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand and position their technologies, articulate their value proposition to clients, and drive sales growth.
  • Field Marketing: Participate in field marketing activities to generate interest and provide information to the client prospect community.
  • Client and Vendor Communication: Set proper expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors throughout the sales process.
  • Team Collaboration: Effectively leverage supporting resources in the sales process with the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Sales Presentations: Professionally develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive-level clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of outside SLED sales experience in the IT space, with a preference for experience in Information Security.
  • Current Enterprise Security Space Experience: Current experience in the enterprise security space is preferred.
  • Strong Relationships: Strong, established relationships with key SLED accounts in the territory are required.
  • Certifications: Network security vendor-related certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
