About the Role:
This role focuses on addressing data and technology inquiries, performing complex reporting, and conducting analysis to manage risk and mitigate credit and operational losses. Key responsibilities include evaluating portfolio trends, assisting in the creation of advanced databases, and generating data for both internal and external reporting needs. In collaboration with Technology, you will implement necessary adjustments to meet ongoing data requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the development of reports to assist Risk and business partners in identifying and managing risks.
  • Analyze trends and contribute to data design, aligning loss trends and portfolio dynamics with business strategies.
  • Provide analytical support for various strategic initiatives across multiple Risk functions and business lines to meet company objectives.
  • Engage in database production processes and create performance reports for senior management, utilizing data aggregation techniques.
  • Address complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving data quality.
  • Monitor control outputs and investigate alerts from checks.

Business Description:
The Consumer and Small Business Credit Risk Data, Reporting, Operations, and Governance team is dedicated to delivering sustainable and controlled credit risk data and reporting that align with business needs. Focused on products such as Credit Cards, Home Loans, and Small Business offerings, the team supports Credit Risk Platform operations and Governance activities, ensuring quality data and reporting processes. This position provides opportunities to engage with various stakeholders and presents both technical and creative challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Risk or Reporting/Data Management
  • Experience with Tableau Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Proficiency in SAS/SQL
  • Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage complex information
