Job Overview

Position: Credit Quality Analyst

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Remote

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Compensation: $30.00 – $32.05 per hour (Compensation may vary based on experience and skills)

Role Responsibilities:
  • Promptly identify and escalate quality assurance issues through the correct communication channels.
  • Effectively communicate quality assurance findings to various levels of management.
  • Ensure timely execution and follow-up on defect remediation while professionally addressing disputes according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with business units and risk partners to identify weaknesses in upstream process controls and suggest enhancements to the control framework.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to ensure proper risk management practices are followed.
  • Foster global partnerships to maintain ongoing dialogues regarding quality assurance.
  • Recommend updates to function/LOB controls, policies, procedures, and risk/control documentation.
  • Evaluate adherence and execution levels, identifying opportunities for risk/control improvements in complex environments.
  • Identify solutions across segments and regions, collaborating with multiple areas to establish effective controls and risk management strategies.
  • Act as a champion for the risk culture within the organization.
  • Possess experience in loan or credit-driven operations.
  • Utilize analytical skills and technical expertise to fulfill assigned responsibilities effectively.
  • Connect control findings to broader strategic business objectives.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and challenge existing practices when necessary.
  • Stay informed about the bank's products and services as well as operational procedures.
  • Demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or related fields.
  • Experience with documentation of procedures, enterprise policies, and risk control frameworks is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while achieving quality objectives and meeting tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with credit products and banking practices, particularly with Loan IQ or Stucky.
  • Understanding of credit and loan agreement language and pricing structures.
  • Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Background in audit or compliance is advantageous.
Work Environment:
  • Occasional exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels from office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficient use of computers and technology is required.
