About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within the foodservice sector. This role will focus on multi-unit group business, platinum level account retention and growth, and recovery of lost accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and customers.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Support corporate business objectives and initiatives.
  • Travel to account headquarters meetings and sales calls.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Business or related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive growth food service sales experience.
  • Advanced training in recent sales techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Office).
  • Proven leadership and motivation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced selling environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
