Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting comprehensive financial reporting and strategic planning across all divisions and offerings at Social Finance Ltd. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, including the CEO and CFO, as well as Strategic Finance, Accounting, and various business partners, you will drive our financial close, forecasting processes, and long-term planning initiatives. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating timely financial and operational insights to inform critical capital allocation decisions across the organization.
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication and presentation abilities, demonstrating proficiency in collaborating effectively with diverse operational teams. A strong command of Excel, coupled with analytical prowess and meticulous attention to detail, is essential. Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidation: Assist in the aggregation of company-wide results, analyses, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Management Reporting: Aid in the preparation and synthesis of materials for Executive and Board presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with various functions and finance stakeholders to drive analyses and reporting for business unit strategies and outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Foster trusted connections with cross-functional leaders to ensure the integrity of key financial and performance metrics.
  • Support Financial Forecasting: Contribute to the quarterly and annual financial forecasting processes.
  • Process Enhancement: Assist in designing new processes to elevate the quality and efficiency of the finance team and overall business operations.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and P&L management.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting information to key stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and inquisitive with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to navigate unstructured environments and tackle complex problems.
  • Effective time and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Analytical thinker capable of distilling financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Results-driven with a hands-on approach to task completion.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Financial Planning Systems (e.g., Planful, Anaplan, Adaptive, IBM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with headcount planning.
  • SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
