Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at McKesson. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing complex cash application issues and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a second-level escalation point for cash application issues
- Manage daily and monthly reconciliations of cash receipts against bank accounts
- Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve payment-related issues
- Process cash applications transactions in SAP, JDE, and other ERP systems
- Support 3PL retained payment functions and execute onboarding procedures
- Participate in weekly/monthly account review calls with 3PL customers
- Follow up with various departments or external customers to resolve missing remittance information
- Provide support and assist in communication with treasury, banking partners, and other internal functions
- Respond to operations technical questions from the virtual team and customer
- Assist with pulling supporting documentation for internal/external audits
- Perform closing process according to month-end schedule
- Facilitate governance calls between virtual team and internal stakeholders
- Assist in ACH/Credit card set-ups and research/resolving unapplied receipts
- Be able to multitask/manage all retained functions
- Cross-train on other functions within the team
- Support and execute on integrations of new businesses in current environment
- Assist with resolving GL account reconciliations discrepancies
- Support/Process Prepayment requests/deposits and process 980 transfers, refunds, manage checks received on-site
- Proactively seek ways to continuously improve processes to achieve greater efficiencies and better controls
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with JD Edwards and Blackline
