Champaign Residential Services, Inc. (CRSI) is in search of a Training and Compliance Administrator to manage and enhance all training initiatives while ensuring adherence to compliance standards. This role entails overseeing that all mandatory training aligns with regulations across various settings, as well as with organizational policies and other legal obligations.

We seek an individual who will help realize our vision of fostering communities where individuals with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities are treated with equality. CRSI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is advantageous for understanding the necessary requirements and regulations for developing suitable training programs, conducting in-home assessments, and ensuring compliance standards are met.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations is crucial for this position.
  • Proven ability to stay updated with evolving federal, state, and local laws to ensure organizational compliance and effectively update training requirements is essential.
  • Technical proficiency is required, as the role involves utilizing Microsoft Office applications and other technologies to facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, as well as managing the Learning Management System.
  • Certification as a CPR/FA Instructor and collaboration with the American Red Cross is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail, flexibility, and the capacity to ask challenging questions while providing clear explanations and demonstrating compassion are vital traits.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites for training and audits is a necessary aspect of this role.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is crucial.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and developing engaging presentations is required.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary, along with the technical skills to manage the Learning Management System and other software.
  • Ability to operate desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, and standard office equipment.
  • Capability to collaborate with vendors related to LMS, CPR/FA, and Occupational Health.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously evaluate, research, and develop training materials to comply with the regulations, policies, and procedures established by CRSI.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and other essential training sessions, including CPR/FA.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance by auditing training participation.
  • Ensure the availability of training materials and resources, updating them as necessary.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System, ensuring all user information and training content is current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with various organizational levels to identify training needs and implement professional development initiatives.
  • Coordinate trainers for specialized training requirements.
  • Manage the scheduling of training sessions across the organization.
  • Ensure all trainers possess the necessary certifications.
  • Establish compliance procedures and develop strategies to meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits to maintain compliance records and uphold quality assurance standards.
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and recommend necessary procedural changes.
  • Provide timely documentation and reports to demonstrate compliance.
  • Foster professional relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Travel to various locations for training, meetings, and audits as required.
