Position Overview

We are seeking a Water Quality Compliance Specialist with experience in sample collection, water quality analysis, and environmental regulation adherence. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding water quality standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compliance sampling and analysis to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues to maintain high water quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure precise measurements.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding sampling protocols.
  • Prepare detailed reports and engage in special projects as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster relationships.
  • Manage laboratory supplies and control costs effectively.
  • Assist in financial planning and budget management.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in water, wastewater, or environmental compliance.
  • A degree in physical, chemical, or environmental sciences is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Travel Requirements
  • Local and regional travel may be required.
Work Environment

This position involves working in laboratory, indoor/outdoor, and office settings.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors for testing purposes.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
