Position Summary:
In this role, you will provide essential case management, education, and counseling services to residents participating in the Federal Bureau of Prisons Residential Reentry program. Your efforts will be directed towards assisting individuals in overcoming barriers to reintegration and achieving their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive residential reentry services tailored to the needs of individuals placed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and orient residents to the RRC environment.
- Develop individualized service plans in collaboration with residents, identifying risks and setting achievable goals.
- Coordinate with medical, psychiatric, and substance abuse professionals to ensure timely assessments and interventions.
- Facilitate individual and group sessions focused on substance abuse aftercare, life skills, and family reintegration.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and federal regulations.
- Act as a liaison between residents and community resources, ensuring effective communication and support.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A valid driver's license and a commitment to upholding confidentiality standards are essential. Experience in mental health or case management is preferred but not required.
