Position Overview

If you possess experience in sample collection, conducting water quality assessments, and ensuring environmental compliance, we invite you to join our team. As a Water Quality and Environmental Compliance Expert, you will play a vital role in upholding water quality standards and adhering to environmental regulations. Core Responsibilities

As a Water Quality and Environmental Compliance Expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting compliance sampling and analysis to meet regulatory standards.
  • Identifying and resolving issues to maintain water quality.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinating customer communications regarding sampling requirements.
  • Preparing reports and conducting special projects as necessary.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to build relationships.
  • Managing supplies and laboratory costs.
  • Assisting in financial planning and budget control.
  • Participating in on-call rotation as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong multitasking and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of chemistry, laboratory techniques, and quality control programs.
  • Familiarity with environmental standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in water, wastewater, or environmental compliance.
  • Degree in physical, chemical, or environmental sciences preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Travel Requirements
  • Local and regional travel as necessary.
Work Environment

Your work will take place in laboratory, indoor/outdoor, and office settings.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors for testing purposes.
  • Valid driver's license required.
