Senior Vice President, Credit Risk Portfolio Leader

The Senior Credit Portfolio Officer is a high-level role tasked with steering strategic risk management efforts for a collection of prominent co-branded credit cards. The primary aim of this position is to oversee risk and returns through strategic initiatives that affect various products, monitor the portfolios, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction by streamlining and automating risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Spearhead significant business initiatives and the execution of projects, engaging with senior stakeholders.
+ Forge cross-departmental collaborations and networks to contribute to and implement business initiatives, including the development and maintenance of infrastructure in partnership with the Centralized Risk Infrastructure team.
+ Diligently evaluate risk in business decision-making, with a strong emphasis on the firm's reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.
+ Prioritize process enhancements and efficiency gains by ensuring a collaborative approach with Audit management, leveraging consumer risk function expertise (e.g., scoring and segmentation techniques).
+ Conduct thorough gap analyses and remediation efforts for any discrepancies arising from policy updates.
+ Provide ongoing feedback regarding all initiatives, including tracking, reviews, and reporting on emerging trends and opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications:
+ Over 10 years of experience in credit risk management or equivalent training and experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
+ Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale projects and effectively influencing senior stakeholders.
+ Proficient in SAS or SQL programming and MS Office software.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to analyze data comprehensively while maintaining attention to detail to synthesize, prioritize, and deliver results promptly.
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and strategic skills.
+ Demonstrated capability to garner support and consensus among a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong work ethic and influencing abilities.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; a Master's degree is preferred.
This position is hybrid and does not offer relocation options.

Compensation:
Salary range: $144,000 - $216,720.00. In addition to salary, Citigroup offers competitive employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs. Paid time off packages are also available.
