About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at stakefish, a leading provider of staking services for blockchain networks. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
  • System Administration: Perform routine and proactive daily management of Linux servers, ensuring the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation, as well as communicate threat models and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Security and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong background in cloud and DevOps technologies.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Server Management: Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements, including design and implementation of secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Cloud and DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies, as well as experience with automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Blockchain Knowledge: Understanding of the blockchain space and blockchain technology, including knowledge of cryptography and security best practices.
  • Open Source Contributions: Experience contributing to open source communities and a passion for collaborative development.
