Zycus Inc. is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure with substantial expertise in SaaS Infrastructure and a comprehensive understanding of Hybrid Data Center Operations, Cloud technologies, and virtualization platforms such as Openshift, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMWare, and Azure.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate extensive experience in managing Hybrid Data Center Operations, encompassing both physical and cloud environments.
- Articulate a vision for infrastructure services, fostering innovation and leveraging IT trends that drive business value, including CI/CD and DevOps practices through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Lead the strategic direction of Zycus' IT Infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on standardization across X86 systems and advanced virtualization techniques utilizing suitable hypervisors, VMWare, and Kubernetes.
- Deliver exceptional infrastructure engineering and operational solutions, promoting automation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Champion the adoption of automated preventive maintenance strategies to proactively manage the SaaS infrastructure, ensuring optimal system stability.
- Serve as the architect for Cloud Infrastructure, consistently identifying opportunities for technology consolidation, automation, cost efficiency, and enhancement of service quality.
- Oversee infrastructure scaling to accommodate fluctuating IT resource demands.
- Manage a 24x7 support team, guiding subject matter experts in Infrastructure and Middleware to uphold service level agreements through effective Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Maintain overall accountability for the daily management of IT Infrastructure, including server and storage systems, ensuring system uptime and SLA compliance across multiple Hybrid Data Centers.
- Administer the IT budget, providing regular updates on budget performance against established plans.
- Conduct capacity and supply/demand management for IT infrastructure needs, considering current projects and future requirements, while overseeing Change Management and Fleet Upgrades.
- Evaluate products and vendors to ensure the adoption of best-in-class technologies and partnerships, including negotiating IT-related procurements.
- Engage with customers to showcase the strengths of SaaS IT and Security during sales interactions, assisting in RFP responses.
- Regularly assess and audit the performance of System Integrators and Original Equipment Manufacturers.
- Collaborate closely with the security team to implement secure IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise and customer projects.
- Coordinate with the Disaster Recovery Manager to establish and enforce policies and procedures for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
