As a Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with our top-tier software and infrastructure teams to facilitate the deployment and maintenance of our premier solutions. A key aspect of this role involves establishing an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployment process and tools that ensure environmental consistency and secure tenancy. Additionally, you will work alongside operational teams to diagnose issues through operational monitoring and response.

It is a highly visible role that will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our AI platform, delivering top-tier cost-performance software solutions. As a leader within the engineering team, you will be accountable for automating deployment processes and ensuring operational precision within the infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the adoption of state-of-the-art DevOps technologies, including GitOps, MLOps, and Kubernetes, to improve software development, testing, and deployment efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of leading continuous integration systems, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and tools for optimal performance.
- Manage and orchestrate our infrastructure, which primarily consists of an on-premises data center environment.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to evaluate and implement enterprise-level systems that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, and technology architecture.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient systems that support software development and deployment.
Additional Required Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in Python, GitHub, and other relevant technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Extensive knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and monitoring technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, with the capability to implement and maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure.
- Ability to promote the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) as a best practice within the DevOps team.
- Proven experience in scaling and supporting engineering teams in a start-up environment, with the ability to lead by example and cultivate a high-performance culture.
- Experience utilizing Open Source tools to develop solutions for an on-premise data center setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Delivery, with hands-on experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficient in cloud computing technologies with experience in platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience in automating infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems, including Git and GitHub.
- Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Compensation Overview
The base salary for this role ranges from $165,000 to $180,000 annually. This range is determined by the role, level, and location, reflecting the salary target for new hires in the U.S. Individual compensation within this range will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
