The Position
We are seeking Infrastructure Solutions Engineers who can assist in constructing, managing, and sustaining high-performance, scalable, and dependable services for Palantir platforms, products, and deployments. You will have the opportunity to leverage your ingenuity to devise innovative solutions to ongoing challenges and automate processes wherever feasible, utilizing the most effective tools available, including cutting-edge LLM and AI technologies.
As an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, your daily tasks will vary. You will be engaged in software development and delivering exceptional support for software systems that are essential to addressing our government's most pressing issues. We firmly believe in engineering teams taking ownership of the operations of their services in production. Therefore, you will collaborate closely with forward-deployed teams and product teams to engage in thoughtful, scalable systems design and share accountability with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee support and operations of Palantir software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
  • Implement new Palantir products at customer sites and execute migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
  • Analyze, enhance, and optimize Palantir's services and infrastructure with an emphasis on long-term reliability and scalability.
  • Minimize manual operations and automate workflows, processes, and/or runbooks where feasible.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for production challenges, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal operational disruption. Participate in a support on-call rotation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-functional teams.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $135,000 - $200,000/year. Total compensation may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonuses, and other potential future incentives. Note that total compensation will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate does not include the value of any potential sign-on bonus, benefits offered, or the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
