Position: Child Support Enforcement Analyst I/II

Location: El Reno, Oklahoma

Annual Salary:

  • Level I H30A: $36,000+
  • Level II H30B: $39,000+

This position involves supporting the initiation and management of child support enforcement cases. It is a full-time opportunity with eligibility for state benefits.

Qualifications and Experience

Child Support Enforcement Analyst I:

  • Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree
  • OR a combination of education and experience, where one year of professional experience in child support enforcement, accounting, legal, or social work can substitute for each year of required education;
  • OR an associate's degree in Legal Assistance or a related paralegal education program;
  • OR an associate's degree in Public Service – Legal Case Management;
  • OR completion of an American Bar Association-approved paralegal education program.

Child Support Enforcement Analyst II:

  • Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree; or a combination of education and experience, where one year of professional experience in child support enforcement, accounting, legal, or social work can substitute for each year of required education; plus one additional year of professional experience in child support enforcement, accounting, legal or social work
  • OR a master's degree; or a Juris Doctorate degree;
  • OR an associate's degree in Legal Assistance or a related paralegal education program with two years of qualifying experience; or an associate's degree in Public Service – Legal Case Management with two years of qualifying experience; or completion of an American Bar Association-approved paralegal education program with two years of qualifying experience;
  • OR a combination of education and experience, where one additional year of qualifying experience can substitute for each year of the required bachelor's degree.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, analyze, and evaluate child support cases for suitable establishment and/or enforcement actions;
  • Prepare documentation of payments, legal documents, and correspondence;
  • Maintain and update computer records, conduct locate activities, and document case activities;
  • Facilitate negotiations for settlements and agreed orders;
  • Mediate between involved parties to resolve issues regarding child support payments;
  • Oversee and manage case logs;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
