Job Title: Business Development Manager, National and Strategic Accounts

Cunard Line is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager, National and Strategic Accounts to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key national accounts within the travel industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts within the travel industry.
  • Act as the main point of contact for designated accounts, addressing inquiries, providing support, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement strategies to maximize sales and revenue opportunities with each account.
  • Create and execute sales plans tailored to each national account based on their business model to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue strategies to expand Cunard's market share.
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams to develop initiatives to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
  • Analyze reports regularly outlining sales performance, market insights, and account activities for review with accounts and management.
  • Provide training and support to national accounts on Cunard's products, services, and sales tools.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address account-specific needs and requirements.
  • Represent Cunard Line at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand visibility and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Preferred 5 years of B2B sales experience in the travel industry.
  • Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Solid computer literacy.
  • Salesforce or other similar CRM knowledge.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize workload.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Perseverance in working with agency decision-makers.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Willingness to take on ad-hoc projects.
  • Self-directed and ability to work independently.
