Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to secure new corporate partnerships that provide a significant number of internships for our students and generate additional revenue for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a plan to research and secure new corporate partnerships, with a focus on C-level relationships and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Sr. Director of Corporate Partnerships to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Execute on market and prospect research to identify potential corporate partners and develop targeted outreach strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners to ensure successful partnerships and growth.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to present solutions to stakeholders and prospective partners, and assist in the sales process.
  • Oversee the development of prospect lists, relationship mapping, and confirm priority initiatives.
  • Track, measure, and manage corporate partners' success against metrics to maximize results and demonstrate ROI.
  • Provide corporate partners with performance data and collaborate with their teams to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain a professional network by participating in networking events that attract C-level decision makers from large employers.
  • Support the organization's vision and strategy, and instill a culture of collaboration in the organization.
  • Support the professional growth of colleagues through mentorship.
Requirements
  • At least 7-9 years of experience in sales, staffing, workforce development, or account management, preferably in a non-profit, education, or staffing organization.
  • Advanced experience in managing corporate partnership accounts, and demonstrated experience building C-level relationships in a revenue-generating capacity.
  • Advanced experience in generating leads and managing pipelines.
  • Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with corporate partners and all other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong sense of accountability for both our program and your own personal/professional development.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in certain months to meet the needs of the business.

  • Competitive compensation ($105,000 to $125,000) commensurate with experience and qualifications.
