In the role of Concessions Manager, you will take charge of guiding and inspiring our team members to deliver exceptional service and quality food to our patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management with a focus on team development and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing the setup and readiness of all service stations for events.
- Assisting in the recruitment and training of team members in line with our operational standards.
- Managing event operations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engaging in proactive loss prevention strategies.
- Primarily working within the concessions department while also supporting premium services as required.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks and updates on point of sale systems.
- Ensuring timely communication and execution of promotional activities.
- Managing cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless requisition processes.
- Working closely with culinary and purchasing teams to maintain accurate theoretical margin calculations.
- Overseeing the tracking of complimentary items and ensuring compliance with Payment Card Information regulations.
- Implementing production sheets to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Providing ongoing coaching and support to team members.
- Conducting regular equipment maintenance, including cleaning of beer lines.
- Restocking concessions and bars to ensure readiness for events.
- Ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols.
- Documenting and analyzing alcohol incident logs to identify trends.
- Supporting recruitment initiatives for team members.
- Leading pre-event meetings to set expectations for service.
- Managing leadership development activities.
- Facilitating orientation training for new team members.
- Communicating effectively with the NPO Group.
- Monitoring service standards during events to uphold guest satisfaction.
- Completing end-of-month inventory assessments.
- Tracking product transfers and requisition sheets during events.
- Addressing and resolving guest complaints promptly.
- Managing team member incidents and ensuring proper reporting procedures are followed.
- Conducting monthly safety inspections and training for team members.
- Completing walkthroughs of the venue before events.
- Providing support to other properties and departments as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food and beverage operational role.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and food service.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
