Position Overview:
Dallas College is in search of a proactive and skilled individual to contribute significantly to the functionality of our academic laboratories. The Laboratory Operations Coordinator will be an integral part of one of the newly established academic divisions, focusing on aligning educational programs with the evolving needs of the North Texas workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management and upkeep of laboratory facilities, specialized classrooms, and associated equipment to support academic programs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols by promoting safe laboratory practices and providing essential training for students on safety measures and hazardous materials handling.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all materials, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemicals and supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage the accurate tracking of tools, equipment, and materials utilized in courses.

Technical Support:
- Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues within the labs.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure effective learning lab support services, including student orientation and training sessions.
- Monitor and assist students during lab periods to maintain a secure and organized learning environment.

Qualifications:
- An associate degree with a minimum of one year of relevant experience, or two years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and equipment, with a preference for experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Robotic processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
