Job Title: Field Service Technician

OPEX Corporation is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse automation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment
  • Install and set up new equipment to ensure seamless integration
  • Interact with customers to determine the root cause of issues and provide timely solutions
  • Complete field service reports and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with management and other personnel to analyze and correct equipment performance issues
  • Submit weekly online timecards and expense reports
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Proficiency in PC competency, Word, Excel, and Windows OS
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently
  • Standing and walking throughout the duration of the shift
  • Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces
Physical/Work Environment:
  • Warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift heavy machine parts while on duty
  • Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces
  • Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and reaching forward will occur while on the job
Salary:
  • $25-28/hour, depending on experience
