Our client, a prominent Medical Center affiliated with a prestigious California Public Ivy university and one of the largest healthcare delivery systems in the state, is in search of a skilled Senior ERP Program Manager.

Position: Senior ERP Program Manager

Location: Hybrid (onsite approximately 1-2 days/month based on project requirements)

Duration: 6 - 12 Months with Strong Possibility of Extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical projects with a defined scope, managing the framework processes and methodologies involving cross-functional teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, and deliverables from initiation to completion.
  • Utilize advanced project management frameworks to align with Campus and Health objectives for enterprise administrative application domains including Finance, HR, Student Systems, Supply Chain, and Research.
  • Address complex issues requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation of variable factors, determining methods and techniques to achieve results.
  • Manage significant re-implementation of the ERP ecosystem, ensuring the project adheres to agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership for the full workstream related to the design, development, and implementation of the ERP project.
  • Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, establish milestones, enforce deadlines, and monitor budget and resource requirements.
  • Apply current IT Project Management Office standards to ERP projects, fostering communication and partnerships within IT and the broader community.
  • Gather and analyze complex data to communicate project details, status, results, and lessons learned to IT leadership and departmental stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing projects in Enterprise Applications, with a preference for healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with major ERP and HCM platforms (e.g., Oracle, Workday).
  • Strong understanding of complex business processes and technical environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of computing and communications, including hardware infrastructure and software operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred.
