Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless continuation of care. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of patient information, including demographics, insurance, and medical records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage front office functions, including scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and processing medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to confidentiality and security protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience in a medical office or equivalent setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
