Territory Sales Account Executive

As a Territory Sales Account Executive at Wayside Publishing, you will play a crucial role in fostering and sustaining relationships with clients who require language-related solutions. Your primary focus will be on comprehending the unique language needs of your clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and facilitating effective communication between them and our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients within your designated territory. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to cultivate new leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, and visits. Understand their language requirements and project timelines, utilizing CRM tools to document all sales processes.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, presenting our product offerings and addressing inquiries to foster trust and rapport.
- Proposal Development: Create and present detailed proposals to clients, outlining products, timelines, and cost estimates while negotiating terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Account Development: Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth through a strategic territory action plan, adapting to clients' evolving language needs.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings relevant to your territory, conducting research to uncover new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within the organization, such as marketing and operations, to align strategies and optimize processes.
- Sales Targets: Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives, driving revenue growth and enhancing market share.
- Negotiation: Handle negotiations and close sales deals effectively, utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field sales or outside sales role, preferably in a B2B context.
- Proven sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a history of meeting sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer interactions effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce, for managing client relationships.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of the relevant industry and products is advantageous.
- Teaching experience, particularly in World Languages, is a plus.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as Spanish, French, German, or Italian is desirable.
