About the Role

Clarity Recruiting is seeking a knowledgeable Trade Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support for our multi-bank, multi-asset trading platform tailored for OTC transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering 24x5 first and second level support, offering technical advisory services, and serving as the primary liaison for clients regarding a variety of technical and business-related inquiries.

Technical Expertise

  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
  • Tools: JIRA, FTP
  • Protocols: TCP/IP, FIX Protocol
  • Programming Languages: XML, Java
  • API Integration

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver first and second line support for all customer inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Conduct training sessions for buy-side and sell-side partners on topics such as order placement, product types, and client position exposure calculations, including credit limits and margins.
  • Utilize UNIX and Windows systems to analyze FIX protocol and XML logs, identifying and resolving issues related to client orders.
  • Oversee technical integrations, focusing on pre- and post-trade solutions, including FIX protocols and FTP/SFTP uploads for execution platforms and Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Lead incident resolution processes to ensure timely responses and minimize service disruptions.
  • Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation for support services.
  • Facilitate discussions with internal and external technology teams to address pending technical issues and escalate bugs as necessary.
  • Assist with client go-lives, ensuring proper configuration for deal execution.
  • Evaluate the quality of pricing flows from FX and metals liquidity providers.
  • Manage inquiries through Freshdesk, ensuring comprehensive and clear communication.
  • Possess experience with FX products, including swaps, forwards, and spot transactions.
  • Be a vital member of a global team providing 24x5 second level support for technical issues.

Knowledge Management

  • Facilitate lessons-learned sessions and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Encourage team members to share insights and expertise with colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in client services, middle office, back office, or a global markets sales and trading environment.
  • Proven track record in training financial professionals, particularly in corporate and banking sectors.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in executing client projects and drafting product requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural organization.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
