As a Trading Support professional, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary contact for end-users in the Rates department.
  • Managing the onboarding process and ensuring smooth integration into the MAPS organization.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with business stakeholders, application developers, and infrastructure teams.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating systems, primarily Linux.
  • ITIL Certification or relevant experience demonstrating ITIL principles.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Unix Shell and Python.
  • Intermediate SQL skills, including multi-table joins and stored procedures.
  • Experience with grid computing and job scheduling tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure disciplines, including networking and server management.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools like ITRS Generos.
  • Documentation skills using platforms like Confluence.
  • Experience with trading risk systems and familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Strong personal skills, including resilience and confidence in high-pressure trading environments, along with excellent communication abilities.

Required Knowledge:

  • Expertise in Rates, including knowledge of PV, Delta, Gamma, and derivatives risk.
  • Understanding of market data, such as yield curves and volatility surfaces.
  • Familiarity with Broadway, LIST, and Valantic is a plus.
  • Basic coding knowledge in Python, .NET, or Java is advantageous.
  • Awareness of MiFid2 regulations and their implications for pre-trade processes.
  • Understanding of the FIX protocol.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $58 - $63 per hour, based on various factors including education and experience.
