SourcePro Search is seeking a dedicated and proactive Trading Operations Specialist to enhance our Trading Operations Team.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage actively in the comprehensive system testing process within a dynamic trading atmosphere.

Applicants should possess a thorough understanding of Business System Requirement documents and be able to convert these insights into automated production test scenarios.

The Trading Operations team plays a pivotal role in providing front-line customer support. It is essential for candidates to exhibit exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, the team is responsible for all client interactions and the business functionality testing of trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with member Firm's trading desks to deliver operational support.
- Coordinate with external technical teams for firm configurations of trading sessions and network connectivity.
- Oversee and finalize all daily Exchange Operations.
- Engage in the Quality Assurance program.
- Develop, author, and troubleshoot detailed test scenarios validated against the testing system.

Proactively review business requirements to create test case scenarios that guarantee comprehensive test coverage of application functionality.

- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans to validate new features and releases.
- Ensure all software issues are reported and managed efficiently according to the firm's software defect remediation process.
- Participate in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology.

Conduct application certification with external clients to facilitate a seamless transition of new features into the production environment.

- Communicate status effectively and ensure the team remains on track for all manual testing.
- Provide timely resolutions for technical and user-specific issues and requests.
- Engage in continuous process evaluation and enhancement.
- Assist the Department Manager with industry-related calls.
- Stay informed about industry trends and their implications for trade support.
- Troubleshoot technical and functional issues based on exchange rules and system design.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or IT/Computer Science.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with JIRA tracking software is advantageous.
- Background in options and/or equities is beneficial.
- Experience in testing trade execution systems at an exchange or for an ECN/ATS is a plus.
- Must possess a solid understanding of the Software Quality Assurance testing process and best practices.
- Strong team-oriented and customer-facing verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Must demonstrate the ability for automated testing of a platform in an integrated testing environment, as well as testing user-interface and transaction-processing systems.

- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Must be a self-motivated, patient, dynamic, organized, and responsible team player.
- Ability to function at a high level and prioritize critical tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility is essential.
