Human Resources Clerk

As a Human Resources Clerk at Plastic Express Inc, you will serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties will include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases.
You will be responsible for preparing and providing various reports and analytics for the organization within the HR Department. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the HR Department as directed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing and maintaining personnel records
- Updating internal databases
- Preparing monthly employee census and providing to leadership as needed
- Answering routine employee queries about HR-related issues
- Acting as a resource for payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with payroll and HR policies and regulations
- Scheduling meetings and interviews as requested by the AVP of HR or VP of People and Culture
- Performing clerical functions
- Ordering company supplies and ensuring accurate distribution to locations
- Preparing new-employee files and filing documents into appropriate employee files
- Preparing correspondence as requested
- Assisting with the recruiting process
- Providing onboarding and employee assistance
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field or four years of related experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications)
- Ability to learn HRIS, Benefit, and Payroll systems

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour
