The Opportunity

As the head of Demand Generation, you'll drive pipeline generation by targeting and delighting large prospect accounts in the entertainment industry, along with the sales team members who own the relationships with them. This position is responsible for Demand Gen campaign strategies aimed mainly at high-value company accounts and the top professionals who run them, as well as overseeing the execution and measurement of all DG efforts against goals, including SMB.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage overall Demand Gen strategy, working cross-functionally with stakeholders and team members.
  2. Learn the deep inner workings of buying units at film and television production companies, working with PMM as an input and output on buyer personas.
  3. Work with the Sales team to identify and tier the top accounts, keeping the target account list updated with progress as well as new opportunities.
  4. Create account plans for specific accounts, groups of accounts, and the individuals in their core buying units.
  5. Ideate and execute on innovative campaigns to engage with accounts, mainly at a 1:1 and 1:few level - while providing guidance and feedback to your Demand Gen team for ongoing 1:many campaigns.
  6. Develop metrics to measure the performance of ABM efforts across accounts, and present them on an ongoing cadence.
  7. Triage accounts as opportunities increase, prioritizing the best use of individualized approach vs broader tactics on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
  • 7+ years experience in Demand Gen marketing strategy for SaaS companies.
  • 3+ years experience in people management.
  • Deep knowledge of best practices across multiple channels: email, paid, ABM, video, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce campaign management at an account level.
  • Experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation software.
  • Experience partnering with lead gen teams on acquisition/awareness programs, with an understanding of content strategy for upmarket audiences.
  • Proven track record of improving win rates and time to close via DG campaigns.
  • Crisp metrics tracking and presentation skills.
Nice to Haves
  • Some background in film and TV production, or marketing to this industry.
  • Technical experience with implementing and running ABM-specific software and/or customizing solutions within Salesforce.
