Job Title: Demand Planning Manager

Cécred is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a fully integrated demand planning/forecasting process that covers a 12-to-18-month horizon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust 12 to 18 month sales forecast, including an analytical demand planning monthly review process.
  • Interface with Sales and Marketing/Ecomm to develop global forecasts for new and existing retail, promotional, and sampling products.
  • Collaborate closely with planning/buying teams at key accounts to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment.
  • Work in collaboration with Operations/Supply Planning to ensure an executable supply plan is developed to meet forecast requirements and budget targets.
  • Develop a monthly forecasting cadence with a milestone calendar for forecast submission and final forecast consensus meeting.
  • Manage monthly forecast review meeting with Marketing/Ecomm, Sales, Finance and Operations, focused on reaching a monthly, actionable consensus-based forecast.
  • Evolve the forecast review into a fully functioning S&OP discipline that consistently delivers high scorecard metrics.
  • Develop and publish monthly forecasting metrics and use diagnostic measures to monitor and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
  • Utilizing shipment and retailer POS data – evolve, implement, and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual reporting to satisfy Sales, Marketing, and Finance requirements.
  • Support the sales organization in analyzing past and current business trends, competitive actions, and mining future sales opportunities to drive business growth with key retail customers.
  • Actively participate in the annual budget and LE process to ensure that forecast/demand by SKU/channel is captured, calendarized, reported, and approved.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to integrate the forecast/demand planning into MRP/ERP system to support accurate supply planning, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure that input parameters of the forecasting model are maintained to create optimal baseline demand.
  • Drive new approaches to analyzing business results and trends and create ad hoc reporting for situational analysis, as needed.
Requirements:
  • 7+ Years of demand forecasting, production planning and supply chain experience – in Beauty or CPG
  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management/Demand Planning, or equivalent
  • Demand forecasting experience, including forecast construction, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and metrics
  • Demonstrated experience of interaction with sales, marketing, operations, and finance as it relates to forecast preparation and analysis
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel experience required
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate with all levels of management and customers
  • Team player who collaborates well and respects the opinions of others
  • Ability to multi-task, welcome challenges, and present solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Strives to attain quality results on time, conveys a sense of urgency, drives issues to closure, and earns a reputation for reliability and dependability
