About This Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Performance Engineering Expert to play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality performance of our software development lifecycle. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and implementing performance engineering strategies, processes, and tools that align with our company's vision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Benchmarking Performance Engineering Process: Develop a deep understanding of the Quality Engineering process and Quality Control Strategy with a focus on performance, test data, and test environments that drive continuous improvement.
  • Promoting Documentation and Process Excellence: Document handbooks for performance engineering processes and identify areas where processes can be streamlined or improved upon using industry-standard templates.
  • Establishing Performance Metrics and Roadmap: Create metrics definitions that drive business outcomes and identify improvement opportunities to enhance performance engineering processes.
  • Thought Leadership and Training: Provide thought leadership on the future state of performance engineering and socialize best practices for test automation design decisions.
  • Implementing Performance Engineering Frameworks: Introduce and implement performance engineering frameworks and recommend relevant performance engineering tools that integrate seamlessly with DevOps pipelines.
  • Promoting Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor performance engineering processes and tools for opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge Management: Develop training programs for QE performance engineering to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  • Process Standardization: Define process improvements for the QA team using industry-standard templates and best practices.
  • Performance Testing Standards: Establish standards for performance testing artifacts and create playbooks for resolving non-conformance issues.
  • Test Environment Requirements: Document test environment and data requirements for tools integration readiness.
  • Training Compliance: Train various teams on tools usage, quality procedures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
About You:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Performance Engineering Expert with at least 8+ years of experience in performance engineering, test data, and test environments. Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is highly desirable.
