Bolton & Menk, Inc. offers an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources Engineering Specialist to engage in a range of challenging and intricate projects for diverse clients. This role is pivotal in contributing to our mission of fostering safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed engineering calculations and analyses.
  • Perform initial layouts, modeling, and design tasks.
  • Research and draft preliminary reports and feasibility assessments.
  • Assist in project design, including the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Support plan reviews, stormwater pollution prevention strategies, and the design of stormwater management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on water resources.
  • A minimum of four years of progressive experience in water resources design and construction.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or eligibility to obtain licensure within a year.
  • Experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Familiarity with GIS applications or coursework.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, and P8.
